—i perfectly remember this one of a kind painting during our CWTS 1 when we were asked to write a reflection about it. This painting was also displayed sometime in our University Library.  pinoytumblr: Hapag ng Pag-asa by Joey Velasco this is the “The Last Supper” version of Mr. Velasco in which he painted Jesus with the twelve impoverished Filipino children instead of the twelve Apostles. Actually, these children are not just part of Velasco’s imagination. They really exist in true life. This Art work invokes the current issues in our country about the life of the innocent children who are victims of the poverty here in our country.
