—i perfectly remember this one of a kind painting during our CWTS 1 when we were asked to write a reflection about it. This painting was also displayed sometime in our University Library.
Hapag ng Pag-asa by Joey Velasco
this is the “The Last Supper” version of Mr. Velasco in which he painted Jesus with the twelve impoverished Filipino children instead of the twelve Apostles.
Actually, these children are not just part of Velasco’s imagination. They really exist in true life.
This Art work invokes the current issues in our country about the life of the innocent children who are victims of the poverty here in our country.

I notice some weird stuffs with the number THREE.three.o3 just today :))
March is the third month and the date today is 03.
If you’ll add the digits of the year 2010, 3 is the sum.
I enjoyed this day so much. It was full of happiness though i was very exhausted awhile ago. *sigh*
THREE significant things happened today. :)
1. I was able to bat the ball when we played softball and I made a homerun during the 3rd inning. We actually won and that was unexpected. :) Enjoyment is what matters most. I actually had fun. :) *dance* —thanks to placibo effect of chu :)
2. At 3PM, the BIG debate, the BIG question, and the BIG forum was held in the afternoon. It was the Meeting de Avance Part 2. And honestly speaking, I was totally impressed with the two presidentiables. :) especially when they were like children playing “pik-pak-boom” :)) —“ang kyut nila” :))
3. And lastly, TATSULOK project is finally done. :)

i just saw this on youtube and i was amazed because it was made for ‘kat’ —same name as mine,but it just differs on its spelling. hehe, im ‘cat’with a Cee :))
Tricycle
“Sakay na kayo kahit hanggang kanto. Ang buhay ng traysikel drayber ay ‘di gawang biro.”
The first time I saw the picture entitled “Tricycle”, there was this person who is very dear to me that came along my mind. He has rendered his selfless service to our family as our personal tricycle driver. He is very patient and a man of dreams for his family. He is very committed and hardworking. He may be not rich in terms of money, but he is very rich for having a good heart to everybody. He is definitely not the king of the road, but he is the “best driver” of my life. Indeed, he is. And this person is none other than Kong Lando, my personal tricycle driver who drives me to school and fetches me there.
He has contributed a very big part in my high school life. For four years of being a high school student, he was with me all throughout. He knew every place I go. He knew where to find me when I’m lost. He knew almost every house of my classmates and friends. Every time I have a classmate or teacher who will ride with me along the way, he never asks for payment though they would insist. He is very nice and he is a good person to me and to everybody. He shares the road with others and he is unlike those people who boast in the road. Sometimes, more often than not, I tend to abuse his kindness though I really did not mean to do it. Due to personal reasons, and other reasons such as a very busy schedule and unexpected time of dismissal, he tends to wait too long for me. Every time I keep him waiting, I am not comfortable with that because I always felt guiltiness in my mind and my heart for keeping him waiting in vain. I always felt sorry every time it happens and I also ask sorry to him and try my best not to do it again.
There were happy times and sad times in those years of bond between me and Kong Lando. No matter how rough the road may be, Kong Lando will always assure me that he will drive smoothly down the road of life. I am also very much grateful to the DRIVER of my life, our Creator, the main reason why I have Kong Lando with me as part of my life. I pray that He will give Kong Lando more strength to face the different challenges in life and different obstacles that he may encounter along the way. I also pray that God will keep him safe all the time as well as his family, too.
With all conviction, I can say that I have the best drivers of my life who always keep me safe no matter what the circumstances are. I have the One, who drives the evilness that may dwell in my heart and the one who drives me to the right path towards the One. I am indeed very much thankful and blessed. In life, there will be no easy way out. There might be shortcuts but may lead to dead ends.
Life is like a tricycle. If you wish to travel far and fast, travel light. Take off all your envies, jealousies, selfishness and fears. However hard the road, however difficult today, things will be better tomorrow. Tomorrow may not be better, but we must believe that it will be.
Lastly, life to me is a journey – the journey between what you once were and who you are now becoming is where the dance of life really takes place. You never know when and where your next destination will be. Just trust in Him. Wherever life may lead you, remember that there will always be the best driver who will keep you safe and will always lead you to the right directions.
